Attempted Commercial Burglary
The Manassas City Police Department is investigating the attempted burglary of Allyssa Bryn Accessories at 9123 Center Street.  An employee reported to police that the attempted burglary occurred between 5:45PM Wednesday, October 3 and 9:15AM Thursday, October 4.  The rear door of the business was damaged, though it did not appear that entry had been gained.

Residential Vandalism
The Manassas City Police Department is investigating the vandalism of a residence on the 9400 block of Waterford Drive.  The resident reported to police that the vandalism occurred between 9:00PM and 11:00PM Friday, October 5.  The resident reported that an unknown vehicle had driven on the front lawn and torn up portions of the turf.

Residential Burglary
The Manassas City Police Department is investigating the burglary of a residence on the 8800 block of Oliver Court.  The resident reported to police that the burglary occurred prior to 7:30PM Saturday, October 6.  There were no signs of forced entry and the front door may have been accidentally left unlocked.  A handgun, cash, and an identity card were reported missing.

Vehicle Vandalized
The Manassas City Police Department is investigating the vandalism of a vehicle on the 9600 block of Park Street.  The owner reported to police that the vandalism occurred between 5:00PM Saturday, October 6 and 10:00AM Sunday, October 7.  The rights side windows and rear window of the vehicle were broken.

PW Police report passenger dies from injuries sustained in an April 15 traffic collision

The investigation revealed the driver of a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 Pickup truck was traveling westbound on Yates Ford Rd. approaching Evans Ford Rd. when a 1993 Buick Roadmaster traveling eastbound on Yates Ford Rd. entered the intersection in front of the truck’s path of travel. The truck and Roadmaster collided within the intersection. The driver and female passenger of the Roadmaster were transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. A Pug in the Roadmaster was declared deceased on scene.
