Residential Burglary
The Manassas City Police Department is investigating the burglary of a residence on the 8600 block of Jackson Avenue.  The resident reported to police that the burglary occurred around 9:30PM Monday, October 1.  There were signs of forced entry into the residence through a door at the back of the residence.  No items were reported missing.

Residential Burglary
The Manassas City Police Department is investigating the burglary of a residence on the 8500 block of Artillery Road.  The resident reported to police that the burglary occurred between 4:45PM and 9:30PM Monday, October 1.  There were no signs of forced entry into the residence.  A gold necklace was reported missing.

Commercial Burglary
The Manassas City Police Department is investigating the burglary of the visitor’s center in the Manassas Railroad Depot at 9431 West Street.  The manager reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:00PM Saturday, September 29 and 11:30AM Sunday, September 30.  There were no signs of forced entry into the business and a door may have been left unlocked overnight.  A small amount of cash was reported missing.

Residential Vandalism
The Manassas City Police Department is investigating the vandalism of a residence on the 9300 block of Caspian Way.  The resident reported to police that the vandalism occurred between 9:00PM Sunday, September 23 and 9:30PM Friday, September 28.  The resident reported that grease had been poured on the rear concrete patio and the screen of the patio door had been torn.

PW Police report passenger dies from injuries sustained in an April 15 traffic collision

The investigation revealed the driver of a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 Pickup truck was traveling westbound on Yates Ford Rd. approaching Evans Ford Rd. when a 1993 Buick Roadmaster traveling eastbound on Yates Ford Rd. entered the intersection in front of the truck’s path of travel. The truck and Roadmaster collided within the intersection. The driver and female passenger of the Roadmaster were transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. A Pug in the Roadmaster was declared deceased on scene.
