Male juvenile, 15, arrested in connection with May 15 double homicide in Woodbridge

Double Homicide Investigation *ARREST – On May 19, 2022 Prince William County Police Department detectives identified a male juvenile suspect, age 15, sought in connection with the double homicide that occurred at the Woodbridge Station Apartments located in the 13600 block of Mary’s Way in Woodbridge (22191) on Sunday, May 15, 2022.
According to MPO Renee Carr, public information officer for PWCPD, the investigation revealed that the victims and other acquaintances, including the accused, had gathered inside the apartment. At one point during the encounter, shots were fired and both victims were struck. The two victims were located deceased by officers later that day while investigating a call for service at another apartment. Following the investigation, a 15-year-old male juvenile, was determined to be the accused sought in connection to the double homicide and was arrested. The investigation continues.

The deceased were identified as Malik Xavier Lamar DAVIS, 23, of Woodbridge and Christian Jamar ROBERTS, 23, of Dumfries

Double Homicide Investigation [Previously Released] – On May 15 at 4:06PM, officers responded to the Woodbridge Station Apartments located in the 13600 block of Mary’s Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a destruction of property. A resident of an apartment reported to police that a bullet hole was discovered in his ceiling appearing to have come from the above apartment. A bullet fragment was also found on the resident’s floor. Officers attempted contact at the apartment where the gunshot was believed to have been fired to perform a welfare check on the occupants. After receiving no answer at the door, officers requested maintenance respond to the residence to open the door. Upon preforming the welfare check, two adult men were located unresponsive, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Additional signs of a shooting were also located. Rescue personnel responded to the apartment and confirmed both men deceased. There were no signs of forced entry into the apartment. No additional injuries or other property damage were reported. Detectives are actively investigating the incident to determine what led up to the shooting. Preliminarily, the incident does not appear to be random and there is no active threat to the community.  The investigation continues.
