Look for Santa in Evergreen Fire Dept. area starting this Friday - Dec. 5

Of course all children love to catch glimpses of Santa during the holidays. Santa seems to inspire adults to enjoy the holidays just a bit more as well. Local fire departments do their part in ensuring everyone gets to see jolly old Saint Nick. 

Santa will be making visits in Evergreen’s service area. On Friday, Dec. 5, beginning at 6 p.m., Santa will visit the north end of Dominion Valley at Waverly Farm Drive and Allens Mill Boulevard.

On Saturday Dec. 13 beginning at 9 a.m. Santa’s route will be through Aldie Road, Richland, Sanders Lane, Ford, Shari, Chatter Brooke, Bridle, Gables Green Way, Balsam Hollow Court, Edwards Island Drive, Avolea Way, Cavendish Court, Logmill to Shelter, Planation Grove, Chestnut Ridge, Benvenue Road, North Lawnvale to Route 234, Oakland Ridge, Coventry, Benbury, Canterbury, North Stepney to Shelter, Gypsum Hill to Route 234, Latham to Shelter, Shelter Manor, Clifton Manor, High Ridge, and Greenville.

On Sunday, Dec. 14, Santa will again be up bright and early to begin his travels at 9 a.m. to visit Lightner Road, Bengal Place, Adriatic Court, Caribbean Court, Omland Place, Olga Court, Benford Drive, Northwood Estates Drive, Riding Club, Dominion Valley near Battlefield High School, the neighborhood near Burnside Farm in front of Battlefield High School, Chimney’s West, High Ridge, South Stepney, Snow Hill, Breezwood, Clearview, Fairland, South Lawnvale, Flamingo, Angus, Midy, Maurine, Straberry, Shady Hollow, the new neighborhood at Misty Acres, Catharpin, Executive, Chuck’s Place, Tullamore Estates and Old Field.

Evergreen Fire and Rescue will have breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 20 from 8:30a.m. to 11 a.m.  They invite all to join Santa for all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, live DJ, raffle, activities for the kids and a visit with Santa.  The cost is $10 for adults ages 12 and older, $5 for children ages 4 to 11 and children 3 and under are free. Jolly old St. Nick will fill up on breakfast in the morning with friends at the fire hall and begin visits at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 20 following Waterfall to Jackson Hollow, Simon Kenton by taking Mt. Atlas, Jackson Mill, Poplar Hill, Mt. Atlas, Crusade Court, Crescent Hill, Palmer Lane, Masters Court, Mountain View, Misty Ridge, Padgett Drive, Mill Creek to Lansdown Road, Mill Creek to New Hope Road, Berkeley Road, Hunton Lane, Quarters Lane, and Gossum Court.

On Sunday, Dec. 21, beginning at 9 a.m., visits will take Santa to Stonewall Farms, Alvey Drive, Dan Court, Little River, Dowden Downs, Camptown Court, Contest Lane, Largo Vista, Doe Ridge, Enfield Chase, Rolling Ridge, Spring Lake, Red Fox Court, Forest Lake, September Way, October Way, Nelson Drive, Ridge to Summit, Gore to Youngs, Sumney to Look Out, Kilgore to Smithy to Log Mill, Quaker to Mountain, Tiffany to Jackson.

Of course, if Evergreen volunteers get a fire call when they are out with Santa, they will have to leave the neighborhood to go fight the fire.
