Prince William County’s Department of Fire & Rescue (DFR) will be conducting live structural fire training on Thursday, Feb. 8, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the 10300 block of Kettle Run Road, a news release from Prince William County government stated.
Periodically, people in the Kettle Run Road area will notice fire apparatus as well as smoke and fire emitting from a building.
The news release stated, “The live fire training will present no hazard to the community or those nearby.”
The training will better prepare the members of Recruit Class 17-2 on fire behavior characteristics, the news release explained.
