Lifelong Learning Institute offers networking event and starts classes Sept. 14
People who are 50 and up and want to continue learning are invited to the Lifelong Learning Institute’s (LLI) “Sip and Socialize” on Friday, Sept. 14, the same day the fall semester starts. The event will be held at Northern Virginia Community College in Innovation Business Park, 9485 Innovation Dr., Manassas, from 1 to 3 p.m.
According to a news release, LLI is for seniors who want to keep their minds active while meeting new people and having fun. Dues are $100 per year. Members may take as many classes as they would like, depending on available space. LLI was organized nine years ago to provide quality, affordable educational opportunities in a supportive environment for people 50 and up.
