Lawn equipment stolen—from sheds, trailers and then the building

INCIDENTS
• Reckless Handling of a Firearm –
On Monday, June 5, 2023 at 9:48PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Ravens Crest Apartments located in the 8000 block of Lyon Cl. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a shots fired call.  The investigation revealed multiple rounds were fired before a light-colored van was observed driving out of the area. While checking the area, officers located damage to a storage building and a shell casing in the roadway. No injuries or other property damage were reported.

• Strong-Arm Robbery – On June 2, 2023 at 8:46PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to Barron Park located at 7625 Aaron Ln. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victims, an 11-year-old boy and 12-year-old boy, were approached by four other male juveniles. The victims and the other juveniles were all in possession of gel blaster guns. During the encounter, the suspects pushed the victims and shot them with gel blasters before taking the victim’s gel blaster guns and dispersing. The victims left the area and contacted the police. The victims reported minor injuries. The suspects were described as teenaged black males wearing black clothing, with one of the suspects wearing a white shirt.

• Commercial Burglary – On June 5, 2023 at 9:54AM,  Prince William County Police officers responded to Shenandoah Landscape located at 7848 Bethlehem Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed entry was made into the secured lot through the fence which was found damaged. Video surveillance revealed at approximately 11:45PM, two unknown individuals stole numerous pieces of lawn equipment from sheds, trailers, vehicles and eventually the building.

• Commercial Burglary – On June 5 at 11:21AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate a burglary that was reported to have occurred at MHT America located at 4897 Prince William Pkwy in Woodbridge (22192) sometime between 12:00PM on May 31 and 8:00AM on June 2. The investigation revealed entry was made into the business through the front door which was found damaged. A red piggy bank was reported missing.

* Attempted Commercial Burglary – On May 31, 2023 at 10:39AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to Woodbridge Soccer located at 14560 Potomac Mills Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an attempted burglary. Video surveillance revealed at approximately 4:05AM, an unknown man attempted to gain entry into the store by throwing rocks and damaging the glass front door. Further investigation revealed the suspect fled the area before gaining entry into the store. No additional property damage was reported and no property was reported missing.
