Lake Ridge Rotary collecting clothing, coats, food for ACTS at Tackett’s holiday arts market
The Rotary Club of Lake Ridge will be manning a collection station for clothing, coats and non-perishable food items during Tackett Mill’s annual Holiday Arts Market from noon until 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14.
Volunteers from the Rotary Club will be accepting the donated items – which will be given to ACTS (Action in the Community Through Service) near the Old Mill Building at Tackett’s Mill’s Lakeside level. The 2nd annual festival features unique works of art by local artists, live holiday music, activities for children, holiday treats, and a visit from Santa.
Additionally, the Rotarians will be accepting donations for the Prince William Chamber of Commerce’s Winter Warm-Up drive where a $10 donation purchases a kit complete with sweatshirt, sweatpants, hat and gloves that will be given to a local student in need.
