George Mason University to graduate 4000+ on Dec. 19

A total of 4,020 George Mason University students who earned their bachelor’s, master’s, professional or doctoral degrees will be recognized at either the 9 a.m. ceremony or the 1 p.m. ceremony at EagleBank Arena at the Fairfax Campus on Saturday, Dec. 19.

Nearly one-third, or 32 percent, of the 2,412 students receiving bachelor’s degrees are the first in their families to earn a degree, according to Mason’s Office of Institutional Research and Reporting.

In addition to the undergraduates, 1,420 students will receive master’s degrees, 178 will receive doctorates and 10 will receive law degrees, a news release from the university stated.
