Gar-Field principal Dr. Cherif Sadki honored as best high school principal in Virginia

Cherif Sadki, Virginia’s 2017 Outstanding High School Principal, recently participated in Principal of the Year ceremonies and met with Virginia’s legislators in Washington, D.C. The National Association of Secondary School Principals hosted the event to honor Dr. Sadki and other educators named as the best high school principals in the nation.

Dr. Sadki met with Senators Tim Kaine and Senator Mark R. Warner, and Congressman Gerald E. Connolly’s Chief of Staff.

Congressman Connolly placed a statement recognizing Dr. Sadki in the “Congressional Record of the Proceedings and Debates of the 115th Congress, First Session.” He commended Dr. Sadki “for his foresight, engagement of the community, and commitment to ensuring that all students receive a world-class education.”
