Four taken to juvenile detention after allegedly firing BB guns at juvenile as she walked away

Malicious Wounding – On October 13 at 7:00PM, officers responded to investigate a malicious wounding that was reported to have occurred in the 1400 block of Bayside Ave. in Woodbridge (22191) the evening prior. The investigation revealed that while in the above area, the victim, a 14-year-old female juvenile, encountered four acquaintances who fired their bb guns at her as she walked away from them.
The victim ran towards a nearby residence where one of the suspects, identified as a 14-year-old male juvenile, tried to stop her by grabbing her. The victim was able to separate herself and continued to the residence. The victim reported minor injuries to her upper body. Following the investigation, all four of the juveniles were arrested.

Status: Held at the Juvenile Detention Center

• Arrested on October 18: [Juvenile]
A 14-year-old male of Woodbridge
Charged with malicious wounding

• Arrested on October 18: [Juveniles]
A 16-year-old male of Woodbridge
A 15-year-old male of Alexandria
Both were charged with attempted malicious wounding
Status: All 3 remained at the Juvenile Detention Center.
