Four men, one juvenile arrested in connection with rape reported in Haymarket

Prince William County Police Department issued the following report on Thursday, NOv. 5, 2015:

**ARRESTS**

Rape Investigation – On October 23rd at 6:35PM, detectives from the Special Victims Unit responded to investigate a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred in the 5300 block of Chaffins Farm Ct in Haymarket (20169) earlier that day. The victim, a 39 year old woman of Gainesville, reported to police that while she was visiting several known acquaintances at the above location, she was at some point incapacitated then sexually assaulted.  The victim later woke up and responded to a local hospital where police were contacted.  Following the investigation, detectives were able to identify all parties involved. All of the accused were subsequently located and arrested without incident.

Charged with rape and aggravated sexual battery

Charged with rape

Mohammed Hamza AL-BIRMANI, 18, of 5316 Chaffins Farm Ct in Haymarket
Charged with rape

A 17 year old male juvenile of Haymarket
Charged with rape
Court Date: Pending | Bond: Held at the Juvenile Detention Center

Arrested on November 4th:
Aras BEYZADEH, 21, of 3173 Ranger Rd Apt 101 in Fairfax
Charged with rape and aggravated sexual battery

**UPDATES**
Malicious Wounding | Cruelty and Injury to a Child | Burglary *ARREST – On November 4th, members of the Washington D.C. U.S. Marshals’ Fugitive Task Force located and arrested the suspect, James BROWN, who was wanted in connection to the incident which occurred in the 3400 block of Castle Hill Dr in Woodbridge on November 3rd. The suspect was located at his home in Washington, D.C.  BROWN is currently incarcerated in Washington, D.C. awaiting extradition back to Virginia.

Charged with 2 counts malicious wounding, 1 count cruelty or injuries to children, 1 count burglary, and 1 count simple assault

Malicious Wounding | Cruelty and Injury to a Child | Burglary – On November 3rd at 9:13PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3400 block of Castle Hill Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a domestic. The caller, a 53 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that the accused, a known acquaintance, forced his way into her residence and assaulted her. The accused then went to an upstairs bedroom where he grabbed a 7 month old female infant and threw her down a flight of stairs causing a serious injury to her leg. The accused then struck the mother of the infant, a 24 year old woman of Woodbridge, in the head with a glass bottle causing a minor injury before leaving the residence prior to police arrival. Officers checked the area and did not locate the suspect. The mother and the infant were transported to an area hospital.  Following the investigation, warrants were obtained for the accused.
