Five adults lose home in Coverstone fire

On Tuesday, November 26th, at approximately 7:00 a.m., Prince William County Va. fire and rescue units were dispatched to a structure fire in a multi-family residence located in the 10900 block of Coverstone Drive in Manassas.

Upon arrival, fire and rescue crews observed smoke and fire showing from the third floor of the apartment. A second alarm was requested. Firefighters proceeded to attack and quickly extinguished the fire. No injuries reported.

The family, 5 adults, safely evacuated the premises. Red Cross was called to the scene to assist the displaced family.

The fire is currently under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Office.
