Firefighters give “all clear” to Vaughan Elementary students and staff to go back to class

After a brief evacuation as a precaution, the Prince William County Fire Department has given Vaughan Elementary School students and staff the “all-clear” to reenter the school building on York Drive in Woodbridge The Fire Department is still on site to determine the cause of the alarm going off. Preliminary finding is that smoke from cooking set off the alarm, according to Irene Cromer, supervisor of community realtions for Prince William County Schools

Tea Festival moves from Herndon to Reston
The Annual Tea Festival will be held at the Lake Anne Plaza Waterfront in Reston on Saturday May 4, from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. with programs and 40+ vendors,, according to a news release.
