Female, 15, arrested in attempted robbery case in Manassas

Attempted Robbery **Arrest**
On August 29, 2018 at 10:07 p.m. officers from the Manassas City Police Department responded to the 9700 block of Grant Ave for a report of an attempted robbery.

The investigation revealed two juvenile victims were walking in the area when they were approached by multiple subjects who demanded cash from the victims. During the encounter one of the victims was tased and stabbed and the other victim was assaulted.

The first victim, a 17 year-old male resident of Manassas, was transported to a local area hospital where he was treated and released. The second victim, a 17 year-old male resident of Manassas, sustained minor injuries.

Through investigation, detectives identified and arrested a 15 year-old female resident of Manassas in connection with this incident. The investigation is on-going.
