Dog inside home scares off suspect in July 5 burglary of Manassas apartment

On July 6 at 5:52AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 7600 block of Cupids Dart Ct in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that around 10:30PM on July 5, an unknown suspect attempted entry into the apartment through a window before being scared off by a dog inside of the residence. There is no suspect information available at this time.

Food and tools reported missing in Woodbridge residential burglary July 4-6 – On July 6 at 11:00AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1400 block of Indiana Ave in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that the burglary occurred sometime between 6:00PM on July 4 and 10:00AM on July 6. Entry was made into the home through a garage door, which was found damaged. Food and tools were reported missing.

Rear window residential burglary reported July 6; jewelry, shoes, backpack missing – On July 6 at 11:30PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 14000 block of Big Crest Ln in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that the burglary occurred sometime between 7:00PM and 11:00PM. Entry was made into the home through a rear window. Jewelry, shoes, and a backpack were reported missing. The investigation continues.

Rooms in home trashed but nothing reported missing; police investigate burglary –On July 7 at 5:16PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 15000 block of Illinois Rd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that the burglary occurred sometime between 1:00PM on July 6 and 12:00AM on July 7. Entry was made into the home through a rear window, which had been removed from its track. Damage was reported to multiple rooms inside of the home. No property was reported missing. The investigation continues, according to Officer Nathan Probus, police department spokesman.
