Detectives seek witnesses to early morning homicide March 26 in Woodbridge cafe parking lot

Homicide Investigation – Early this morning March 25 at 12:17AM, Prince William County police officers responded to the Babylon Café located at 3081 Golansky Blvd. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a shooting.

When officers arrived, they located a man suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers provided immediate first aid to the man until rescue personnel arrived.  The man was transported to an area hospital where he died as a result of his injuries, according to Master Police Officer Renee Carr, public information officer for the police department.

MPO Carr said the investigation revealed that a group of people were gathered in the parking lot of the above location when several gunshots were fired. The man was struck by multiple rounds as the group dispersed.

Detectives with the Violent Crimes Bureau are actively investigating the incident to determine what led up to the shooting and are seeking to speak with anyone who was present during the altercation who can provide more details as to what occurred. No arrest has been made in this incident. More information will be released when available. The investigation continues.
          The deceased was identified as Kalin Javon ROBINSON, 25, of Stafford
