County police investigate two residential burglaries reported June 6 in Woodbridge

Residential Burglary – On June 6 at 10:00PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 1800 block of Clarinet Ct in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. 

The investigation revealed that the accused responded to the victim’s apartment and started banging on the front door. The victim, 29-year-old woman, refused to open the door and told the accused, an acquaintance, to leave. The accused then went to the rear of the building, climbed onto the victim’s balcony, and forcibly opened the patio door.

Once the accused made entry into the apartment, he threatened the victim before fleeing the apartment as the victim contacted police. Following the investigation, an officer obtained an arrest warrant for the accused, identified as Stonnie Ray CHAVIS. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful. The investigation continues.

Stonnie Ray CHAVIS, 44, of the 15500 block of Northgate Dr in Woodbridge
Described as an white male, 5’09”, 200lbs, with brown eyes and brown hair
Wanted for burglary, assault, and destruction of property

Residential Burglary – On June 6 at 4:50PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12700 block of Dulcinea Pl in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The caller reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 7:30PM on June 5 and 4:00PM on June 6. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Power tools were reported missing.
