County police investigate two incidents involving firearms

Armed Robbery – On Sunday, May 7 at 11:39PM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to the McDonalds located at 4245 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown masked man entered the business brandishing a handgun. During the encounter, the suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the business on foot. A police K-9 searched for the suspect who was not located. No injuries were reported. The investigation continues.
Suspect Description:
Black male of an unknown age, 6’00”, 160lbs with a dark complexion
Last seen wearing a mask, black hoodie, black backpack, and white shoes

Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling – On May 5 at 7:00PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 16900 block of Porter Inn Dr in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a destruction of property call. A resident of the apartment reported to police that sometime after 8:00AM that morning, a bullet entered the apartment through a bedroom window and interior wall. No injuries or other property damage were reported.
