Country store robbery reported; police spot vehicle matching description at nearby 7-Eleven

**ARRESTS**

Armed Robbery – On October 11 at 9:37AM, officers responded to the Oak Hill General Store located at 12203 Kahns Rd in Manassas (20112) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed that an unknown man, later identified as the accused, entered the store, brandished a handgun, and demanded money. The man took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the area in a black Honda Pilot. No injuries were reported. Responding officers observed a vehicle matching the description pull into the parking lot of the 7-Eleven on Dumfries Rd near Purcell Dr where a vehicle stop was conducted. The driver was detained without further incident and was determined to be the suspect involved in the robbery. The vehicle and handgun located were also found have been reported stolen from North Carolina. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Jeremy Chanz-Dorsey WILLIAMS, was arrested.

Charged with robbery, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and possession of stolen property

Burglary with Intent to Assault | Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On October 11 at 2:09PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12700 block of Landview Dr in Manassas (20112) to investigate an initial report of a domestic. The investigation revealed that the accused had broken into the home of an acquaintance and began destroying property. Prior to police arriving in the home, the accused fled the area in a vehicle belonging to the acquaintance. The accused then crashed the vehicle a short distance away from the residence before encountering responding officers. The accused ran towards one of the officers threatening to have a weapon. The accused was eventually detained following a brief struggle. No officers were injured. The accused sustained injuries from the crash and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The accused was also found to be under the influence of suspected narcotics at the time of the crash. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Steven Robert BANKS, was arrested.
