The investigation revealed that the bicyclist was traveling westbound on Dale Blvd in the left travel lane when the driver of a motor vehicle, traveling in the same lane, collided with the bicycle. After colliding with the bicycle, the driver of the motor vehicle crossed over the roadway onto the median before crossing back onto the roadway. At no point did the driver stop and attempt to render aid, according to Sgt. Jonathan Perok, spokesman for the Prince William County Police Department.
The vehicle was last seen continuing west on Dale Blvd.
