Commercial burglaries reported; indecent exposure arrest at county park

**INCIDENTS**

Commercial Burglary – On August 13th at 2:02PM, officers responded to the Popeyes located 14400 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. Employees reported to police that the burglary occurred between 3:45AM and 3:55AM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the business through the drive-up window. There were no signs of forced entry. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.

Commercial Burglary – On August 13th at 8:58AM, officers responded to the EZ Storage located at 14924 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. Employees reported to police that the burglary occurred between 3:36AM and 3:39AM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the business through a front glass door which was found damaged. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.

Commercial Burglary – On August 12th at 11:21AM, officers responded to a vacant building located at 14000 Foulger Sq in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The property owner reported to police that the burglary occurred between an unknown time on May 1st and 7:00AM on August 12th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the building through a rotating front door which was found damaged.  Multiple televisions, total value around $4,300, were reported missing.

**ARRESTS**

Indecent Exposure – On August 12th at 4:35PM, officers responded to Locust Shade Park located at 4701 Locust Shade Dr in Triangle (22172) to investigate an indecent exposure. The victim, a 51 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was inside her parked vehicle in the park when she observed another vehicle pull into the lot and stop near her. Once parked, an unknown man exited his vehicle and approached the victim. The suspect got close to the victim’s vehicle and proceeded to expose himself. The victim immediately called police and the suspect got back into his vehicle and drove to another area of the park. Officers arrived and located the man walking on one of the park trails and identified him as the accused.  During the investigation, officers learned of another incident on July 30th involving the accused who reportedly exposed himself to a couple at the same park. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested and charged in connection to both incidents.

John Michael LORENZO Jr., 63, of 618 Pleasants Dr in Fredericksburg
Charged with 2 counts of indecent exposure
Court date: pending | Bond: $5,000 unsecured
