Bristow man and Triangle man charged with reckless handling of a firearm in separate incidents

**ARRESTS**
Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On March 24 at 8:50PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12100 block of Jennell Dr in Bristow (20136) to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed that the accused, who was intoxicated, discharged a round from a handgun while in his garage. The bullet traveled into a neighboring home and passed through two rooms before embedding into some crown molding. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
Arrested March 25:
Christopher Odilion AYALA, 32, of the 12100 block of Jennell Dr in Bristow
Charged with reckless handling of a firearm and obstruction of justice
Court Date: May 7, 2018| Bond: Held on a $1,500 secured bond

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On March 23 at 11:30PM, officers responded to the area of Old Port Ln and Tavern Way in the Town of Dumfries (22172) to investigate a fight with weapons. Multiple callers reported to police that there were several people fighting in the above area and that one male had fired several rounds from a handgun into the air.

Town of Dumfries Police officers quickly arrived and located three vehicles that were attempting to leave the scene. Responding Prince William officers assisted in detaining multiple occupants inside each vehicle. During a subsequent search of a vehicle driven by the accused, a handgun was found concealed in the driver’s side door. Officers canvassed the area and located several shell casings in the roadway. No injuries or property damaged was reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Jimmy Elton WALL, Jr., 25, of 3690 Masthead Trl in Triangle
Charged with reckless handling of a firearm, carrying a concealed firearm: 2nd offense, driving under the influence, and unreasonable refusal
