Baby, 7 months, taken to hospital after being thrown down stairs, PWC Police report Nov. 4

**INCIDENTS**

Malicious Wounding | Cruelty and Injury to a Child | Burglary – On November 3rd at 9:13PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3400 block of Castle Hill Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a domestic.

The caller, a 53 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that the accused, a known acquaintance, forced his way into her residence and assaulted her. The accused then went to an upstairs bedroom where he grabbed a 7 month old female infant and threw her down a flight of stairs causing a serious injury to her leg. The accused then struck the mother of the infant, a 24 year old woman of Woodbridge, in the head with a glass bottle causing a minor injury before leaving the residence prior to police arrival.

Officers checked the area and did not locate the suspect. The mother and the infant were transported to an area hospital.  Following the investigation, warrants were obtained for the accused.

Described as a black male, 5’10”, 145lbs with a thin build, medium complexion with black hair and brown eyes
Wanted for 2 counts malicious wounding, 1 count cruelty or injuries to children, 1 count burglary, and 1 count simple assault

Armed Robbery – On November 3rd at 8:41PM, officers responded to the 14600 block of Ponderosa Ct in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 13 year old female juvenile of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was walking in the above area when she was approached by an unknown man. During the encounter, the man brandished a knife then took the victim’s cellphone. The victim was able to flee then contacted police. No injuries were reported. Officers checked the area and did not locate the suspect.
Suspect Description:
Black male, between 18 & 25 years age – No further description provided
Both were last seen dark colored clothing

Indecent Exposure – On November 3rd at 4:43PM, officers responded to the 14800 block of Dining Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an indecent exposure. The victim, a 50 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was her vehicle in the above area when she observed an unknown man expose himself and make an obscene gesture. The victim immediately contacted police and the suspect left the area. No other contact was made between the two parties. Officers checked the area and did not locate the suspect.
Suspect Description:
White male, 20 & 30 years of age, 6’0”, with brown hair
Last seen wearing a dark colored shirt, dark pants, and a black apron
