Attempted armed robbery suspect flees after gas station employee tries to grab gun

**INCIDENTS**

Armed Robbery – On January 3rd at 9:12PM, officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 15052 Cardinal Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. Employees reported to police that three unknown men entered the store brandishing firearms and demanding money. The men took an undisclosed amount of money then fled the area in a black 4D sedan. No injuries were reported. Officers checked the area for the suspects who were not located. The investigation continues.
Suspect Descriptions:
Black male, 6’02’’, 165lbs with a thin build – No further description provided
Last seen wearing a white mask, black jacket with a hood, light blue jeans, boots, and gloves

Black male, with a medium build – No further description provided
Last seen wearing a black scarf covering his face, blue hoodie jacket, and black pants

Male of unknown race, with a medium build – No further description provided
Last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, and black boots

Attempted Armed Robbery – On January 2nd at 8:24PM, officers responded to the Shell service station located at 2600 Prince William Pkwy in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an attempted robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the store then brandished a handgun and demanded money.  At one point, an employee attempted to grab the handgun from the suspect and a struggle ensued. The parties eventually separated and the suspect fled the store. No injuries were reported and no property was reported missing. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect who was not located. The investigation continues.
Suspect Description:
White male, between 18 & 25 years of age, 5’08’’, 140lbs with a thin build
Last seen wearing a light-colored cloth partially covering his face, a grey hoodie jacket with red writing, and blue jeans

Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling – On January 3rd at 4:51PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 16900 block of Takeaway Ln in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a destruction of property call. The homeowner reported to police that a loud noise was heard in the above area on January 1st around 12:30AM. No damage was immediately discovered at that time. On January 3rd, the homeowner observed the outer pane of an upstairs window was damaged and discovered a bullet lodged between the two panes of glass. The bullet did not enter the home and no other damage was reported.

Shooting into an Unoccupied Dwelling – On January 1st at 3:23AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 14100 block of Cuddy Lp in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a destruction of property call. A resident of the apartment reported discovering damage to a window and a bullet lodged in an interior wall upon returning home. Further investigation revealed that a witness reported to police at 1:50AM that a gunshot was heard in the above area. Officers responded and no damage was immediately discovered.  No other damage was reported.

Commercial Burglary – On January 3rd at 12:20PM, officers responded to C&J Automotive located at 14769 Build America Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. An employee reported to police that the burglary occurred between 2:00PM on January 2nd and 9:00AM on January 3rd. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the business through a door which was found damaged.  No property was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On December 31st at 4:48PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 10100 block of Portsmouth Rd in Manassas (20110) to investigate a burglary. The caller reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:00AM and 6:15PM on December 30th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the apartment. Several alcoholic beverages were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On December 31st at 2:48PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 18091 block of Purvis Dr in Triangle (22172) to investigate a burglary. A resident of the apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:30AM and 11:00AM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the apartment. A portable fireplace, tackle box, and fishing pole were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On December 31st at 6:57AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1400 block of East Longview Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The caller reported to police that the burglary occurred between 2:30AM on December 30th and 6:00AM on December 31st. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Tools were reported missing.

Attempted Commercial Burglary – On January 3rd at 8:28AM, officers responded to 7 M Graphics located at 945 Highams Ct in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an attempted burglary. The caller reported to police that sometime between 12:00PM on January 1st and 8:00AM on January 3rd, entry was attempted into the building through a bay door which was found damaged.  No entry was made into the building and no property was reported missing.

**ARRESTS**

Abduction | Domestic Assault & Battery – On December 31st at 2:25PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 14500 block of Piccolo Ln in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic assault. The victim, a 16 year old juvenile female of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, identified as a family member, were involved in a verbal alteration which escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim then stood in front of a doorway and prevented the victim from leaving. The parties eventually separated and police were contacted. Following the investigation, the accused was located and arrested without incident.
          Arrested on January 1st:
          Harbin ARGUETA, 19, of the 14500 block of Piccolo Ln in Woodbridge
          Charged with abduction, domestic assault & battery and destruction of property
          Court Date: Pending | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond
