Arrests made in Woodbridge shooting and gas station robbery; bank robbery suspect sought

Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Shooting Investigation *ARRESTS – On April 19, detectives from the Gang and Robbery Units identified three suspects involved in the shooting which was reported to have occurred in the 4900 block of Kirwyn Ct in Woodbridge on April 17.

Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of those three individuals, one which was identified as a juvenile. A search warrant was also obtained and subsequently executed at the residence of two of the suspects, identified as Xina Janeth SALES and Cody Dale BROADUS, on Harrison St in Woodbridge.

During the search, both adult suspects were arrested without incident. Attempts to locate the juvenile suspect, a 16 year old male juvenile of Woodbridge, have been unsuccessful.

Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Shooting Investigation [Previously Released] – On April 17 at 7:27PM, officers responded to the 4900 block of Kirwyn Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shooting call.  The investigation revealed that the victim, a 12 year old male juvenile of Woodbridge, was playing in the above area with several friends when he was involved in a verbal altercation with an acquaintance which escalated. During the encounter, a large fight broke out between the two parties. At some point, a suspect riding inside a SUV fired several rounds into the crowd striking the victim in the arm and lower body. The vehicle then fled the area prior to police arriving. The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.  Detectives have determined that this shooting was not random. The investigation continues.

Armed Robbery *ARREST – On April 22, the below previously wanted suspect, William Howard ROBINSON, who was alleged to have been involved in the April 15 robbery at the Shell service station located at 2990 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge, was arrested without incident following a traffic stop by law enforcement authorities in Maryland. The accused is currently being held in Maryland until extradited back to Virginia.

Armed Robbery *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED [Previously Released] – On April 15, officers identified the suspect involved in the robbery which was reported to have occurred at the Shell service station located at 2990 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge on April 15. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of this suspect, identified as William Howard ROBINSON. Attempts to locate ROBINSON have been unsuccessful.

Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On April 15 at 10:00AM, officers responded to the Shell service station located at 2990 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. An employee reported to police that an unknown man entered the store brandishing a handgun and demanding money. The suspect then fled the area in a blue Nissan Versa hatchback with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported. The investigation continues.

Armed Bank Robbery *UPDATE – On April 22, detectives from the Robbery Unit obtained warrants for the arrest of the suspect, identified as Vicky Samantha FLORES, involved in the April 5 robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank located at 2867 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge. Attempts to locate this suspect have been unsuccessful.

Armed Bank Robbery [Previously Released] – On April 5 at 4:22PM, officers responded to the Wells Fargo Bank located at 2867 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. An employee reported to police that an unknown woman approached the bank area then passed a note implying she had a weapon and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the area on foot in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported. Officers checked the surrounding area for the suspect who was not located. The investigation continues.
