Adopt-a-Stream program to continue in PWC, despite statewide budget cuts

Despite the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) budget cuts to the Adopt-A- Stream program statewide, the Prince William Soil & Water Conservation District reports that it is continuing the Adopt-A- Stream program at the local level.

The District will continue to work with other partners to make sure that cleanup volunteers still have all the support they need for their cleanup supplies and trash removal, according to its March 2017 Watershed Newsletter.

The District looks forward to having a stronger working relationship with its volunteers in Prince William County and to keep the streams in our community clean.
