Administrative staff to begin new posts July 1 with Prince William Schools

The following administrative appointments have been announced and are effective July 1, 2015, according to a news release from Prince William County Schools.

Janeene Mainor, formerly an assistant principal in Alexandria City Public Schools, is the new principal of Springwoods Elementary School.

Christopher Knighting, currently a second grade teacher at Leesylvania Elementary School, will become the assistant principal of Marumsco Hills Elementary School.

Kevin Conroy, currently instructional technology coach at Westridge Elementary School, will become the new assistant principal there.

Lynn Ball, administrative Intern at Mary Williams Elementary School, will become the assistant principal of Bristow Run Elementary School.

Michelle Pohzehl, Title I instructional coach, will become assistant principal of Chris Yung Elementary School.

Steven P. Williams, currently a teacher on administrative assignment at Bull Run Middle School, will become the new assistant principal there.

Mathew Mathison, currently serving as a teacher on temporary assignment at Woodbridge High School, will assume the 2015-16 administrative intern position there. He has also served as a social studies teacher and a math teacher.

Ed Stephenson, currently principal of Reagan Middle School, will become the supervisor of arts.
