Man reports he was robbed after his hand was grabbed and his wrist was twisted

Strong-Arm Robbery – On Sunday, Sept. 12, at 2:54PM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The 24-tear-old male victim reported to police that he was talking to a group of unknown men when he began to walk away.

According to Master Police Officer Renee Carr, police department public information officer, one of the men from the group quickly approached the victim from behind and grabbed his wrist, then twisted the victim’s wrist, causing him to fall to the ground before removing money from the victim’s hand. The suspect fled the area on foot and the victim contacted the police. The victim was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing.

Suspect Description:
A black male, approximately 5’10”, with a thin build, short hair and clean shaven.
Last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and a blue jacket tied around his waist
