Catlett man killed in motorcycle accident on Nokesville Rd. near Fauquier Dr.

Fatal Crash Investigation – On Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 7:57AM, investigators with the Prince William County Police Department’s Crash Investigation Unit responded to the area of Nokesville Rd and Fauquier Dr in Nokesville (20181) to investigate a crash involving a motorcycle.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the operator of a blue, 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 650 motorcycle was traveling northbound on Nokesville Rd, and had just passed Fauquier Dr, when, for an unknown reason, the operator lost control before crashing into a guardrail.

Two off-duty officers and other motorists performed CPR on the operator until rescue personnel arrived at the location. The operator was pronounced dead on scene. Investigators are seeking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the operator’s driving behavior prior to the crash. Additional information will be released when available. The investigation continues.

Identified: The operator of the 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 650 motorcycle was identified as Daniel Cody STARR, 32, of Catlett.
