Police investigate three reports of early morning shots fired into occupied residences

Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling – On August 12 at 5:00AM, Prince William County police officers responded to the 13300 block of Quate Ln. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shots fired call. The homeowners reported to police that they were asleep when they woke to the sound of a crashing noise inside the residence. Upon checking the home, two suspected bullet holes were located in an interior room. During a canvass of the neighborhood, officers located a second home that was struck. No injuries or other property damage were reported.

Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling –On August 10 at 4:40AM, Prince William County police officers responded to a home located in the 15100 block of Cloverdale Rd. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shots fired call. A resident of the home reported to police that she was in the basement area of the home when gun shots were heard coming from an upper floor. When the resident checked the home, a shattered glass patio door was located. The incident was possibly connected to an unrelated occurrence in another jurisdiction. No injuries or other property damage were reported.
