Two shot in Dumfries this morning on first day of spring; details still coming in

Shooting Investigation—On March 20 at 10:13AM, officers responded to the 4000 block of Marjon Ct. in Dumfries for a shooting in progress. Officers arrived and secured the scene. Officers located one man and one woman, both adults, shot within the residence. The condition of the two shot is not being disclosed at this time. The incident is isolated to the residence and there are no public safety concerns at this time, according to Officer Renee Carr, police department spokesman.

Supervisor Lega denounces antisemitic symbols and graffiti found on two PWC schools
Coles Supervisor Yesli Vega issued this statement: "Today (April 25, 2024) I was notified that graffiti including antisemitic symbols were found at Coles Elementary and Benton Middle School. I want to express my unwavering support for our Jewish community. In Prince William County, we firmly reject any form of hatred."
