Man wanted for violating final protective order; resident home when suspects break in

Residential Burglary | Violation of a Protective Order – On October 14 at 9:20AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 2900 block of Myrtlewood Dr in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a domestic. The investigation revealed that the accused, identified as Roger Melvin Sesso LASSITER, responded to the residence and attempted to make contact with family members by knocking on the front door.

When a family member refused to open the door, the accused attempted to kick in the front door before fleeing the area in a vehicle without making entry into the residence. Further investigation determined that the accused was in violation of an active final protective order, which was obtained against him by family members.

Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused. Attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful. The investigation continues.

Strong-Armed Robbery – On October 10 at 6:00PM, officers responded to investigate a robbery that occurred earlier that afternoon in the 4100 block of Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193). The victim, a 19-year-old man, reported to police that he was walking along a path around 4:00PM behind the Forestdale Plaza Shopping Center when he was approached by two acquaintances. During the encounter, the acquaintances pushed the victim to the ground before taking his the wallet and fleeing the area on foot. Officers eventually identified one of the suspects as the accused and determined he used the victim’s debit card to make an unauthorized transaction. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful. The investigation continues.

Wanted for 2 counts of robbery, 2 count of conspiracy to commit robbery, and 1 count of obtaining money by false pretenses

Residential Burglary – On October 14 at 12:11PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7500 block of Kimberton Ct in Manassas (20111) to investigate a burglary in progress. The investigation revealed that a resident was in the home when two unknown suspects broke a door and walked in. The suspects fled the home when confronted by the resident. No property was reported missing. Officers searched the surrounding area for the suspects without success. The investigation continues.
