Two armed robberies in Manassas early this morning; victims lose money and cell phones

Strong-Armed Robbery – On May 31 at 1:57AM, officers responded to the area of Seymour Rd and Campaign Ct in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 30-year-old man, reported to police that he was parking his vehicle in the above area when he was approached by two unknown black males. During the encounter, the suspects knocked the victim to the ground then took his cell phone and wallet. The suspects then fled the area in a dark vehicle driven by another unknown black male. Minor injuries were reported.  Officers searched for the suspects who were not located.

Three black males dressed in all black – no further description available

Strong-Armed Robbery – On May 31 at 1:30AM, officers responded to the 8600 block of Parkland St in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 17-year-old male, reported to police that he was walking in the above area when he was approached by silver vehicle. When the vehicle stop, an unknown white male got out and asked the victim if he had any “drinks.” When the victim replied no, the suspect assaulted him. The victim was able to flee to a nearby business where the suspect along with three other males caught up to the victim and continued to assault him. The suspects eventually took the victim’s cell phone and money before fleeing the area in the vehicle. Minor injuries were reported.  There is no further suspect description available at this time. The investigation continues.
