**INCIDENTS**
Threats on School Grounds – On March 8 at 8:39PM, Prince William County Police officers received information of a potential threat of violence at Beville Middle School located at 4901 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193).
The investigation revealed that a possible student communicated over the social media app “Instagram” suggesting an act of violence at the school.
On March 9, the School Resource Officer (SRO) assigned to the school, with the assistance of detectives from the Intelligence Unit, identified the student and responded to his residence in Woodbridge.
Following the investigation, the SRO obtained a petition for the student who was served and released back to the custody of a family member later that evening. The case will be handled through Juvenile Intake.
