Police looking for car that hit pedestrian in Cardinal Drive crosswalk Jan. 31, then was driven away
**INCIDENTS**
Hit & Run Investigation – On January 31 at 6:05AM, officers responded to the area of Cardinal Dr and Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a crash involving a pedestrian.
The investigation revealed that the victim, who was in a crosswalk, was attempted to cross Jefferson Davis Hwy from Cardinal Dr when she was struck by an unknown vehicle making a right turn onto southbound Jefferson Davis Hwy from Cardinal Dr. The striking vehicle did not remain at the scene.
The victim, a 19-year-old woman of Woodbridge, reported minor injuries.
Officers believe the striking vehicle involved in the collision was a silver sedan. The vehicle may have sustained damage to the middle and right side of the hood and front bumper. It is probable that additional drivers could have witnessed the crash.
