Strong armed robbery in Triangle and shots fired into air in Woodbridge reported to PWC Police

**INCIDENTS**

Strong Armed Robbery occurs as man leaves food store in Triangle – On July 3 at 10:52PM, officers responded to Connie’s Food Mart located at 3901 Graham Park Rd in Triangle (22172) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 27-year-ol man of Dumfries, reported to police that upon exiting the above business, he was confronted by a large group of unknown individuals. During the encounter, words were exchanged between the victim and the group. At one point, someone from the group approached the victim and assaulted him before taking his phone and wallet. Following the altercation, the group immediately dispersed. The victim was not injured. A police K-9 searched the suspect who was not located. Items from the victim’s wallet were recovered nearby.
Suspect Description:
Black male, between 18 & 20 years of age, with a thin build
Last seen wearing a black & white hat – no further description

Reckless Handling of a Firearm in Woodbridge as driver fires rounds into the air – On July 3 at 9:46PM, officers responded to the 15200 block of Forest Grove Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call. The caller reported to police that they observed the driver of a dark colored, 4-door sedan fire multiple rounds from the driver’s side of the vehicle into the air. The driver fled the area towards Jefferson Davis Hwy. Officers located several shell casings in the roadway. No injuries or property damage were reported. The caller was unable to describe the driver.
