Cadets in the Navy JROTC at Osbourn Park High School will be among the best NJROTC units in the world this weekend vying for honors at the “Navy Nationals.” They will be the first unit from Northern Virginia to ever advance to the national competition at the Pensacola Naval Air Station in Florida on April 7-8.
The competition includes academic, athletic, and drill events. Only the top 25 units of the 575 units nationwide qualify to compete in the national competition each year. The Osbourn Park unit is led by LCDR Commander James Ogawa (RET) and Chief Darrick Williams.
