Prince William County Schools delay report card schedules due to internet issues

The Nov. 4 interruption of Prince William County Schools’ internet connectivity has resulted in a change to the first quarter report card distribution plan, according to a news release.

The date for pick-up/distribution of all first quarter report cards has been pushed back to Thursday, Nov 17. Individual principals will work with their school staff to determine and announce the internal grade entry deadline to comply with this new schedule.

High school families can bet assured that the new schedule will still ensure that secondary transcripts are updated and available in time to meet college decision schedules, the release stated.

As of the afternoon of Nov. 4, PWCS internet connectivity and all related systems were largely restored. Information Technology Services is working to address any remaining issues, and to make certain that all systems, including email, telephones, and Parent Portal are fully functional , the release stated.

Thank you for your understanding and patience throughout this challenging period.
