Committee of 100 to examine how Prince William County should site future schools

The Committee of 100 will host a discussion March 17 at 7:45 p.m. at the Wyndam Garden Hotel, 10800 Van Dor Lane, in Manassas on how Prince William County should choose locations for future schools.

The program will be preceded by a social hour at 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. for those who wish to attend.

Should we re-purpose buildings or county-owned land such as parks or golf-courses?

How does Prince William County school site selection compare with other jurisdictions?

Is there a sweet spot where we can achieve the goal and create a win-win situation?

Moderator: Mr. Tom Burrell Planning Commissioner, City of Fairfax, Chairman, LOCCA-PELT

Mr. Gil Trenum, Brentsville District Representative, Prince William County School Board
