PWC Schools will fly county flag at half staff for fallen officer (when possible)
Prince William County Schools joins our community in grieving the tragic loss of Officer Ashley Guindon, and hoping for the speedy recovery of Officers Jesse Hempen and David McKeown.
Our thoughts are with the families and friends of the gallant officers, and with all their colleagues on the Prince William County Police Department.
Prince William County flags will be flown at half-staff in honor of the fallen officer, where possible.
Regrettably, several share a single pole and apparatus with the American flag and cannot be lowered separately.
The U.S. flag may be lowered only by order of the president or, in certain cases, a state governor.
