Vacant Sudley townhouse extensively damaged in an early morning fire May 8
Prince William County fire and rescue crews were dispatched to the 7600 block of Quail Run Lane in the Sudley area of Manassas for a reported townhouse on fire on Monday, May 8, at 3:04 a.m.., reports Matt Smolsky, Prince William County Fire Marshal.
Smolsky said arriving crews observed heavy fire throughout the structure. Fire attack quickly commenced suppressing the flames, said Smolsky, who is also the county’s assistant fire chief.
The structure sustained extensive. damage, and the Fire Marshal’s Office has listed the origin of the fire as suspicious. The investigation is continuing, Smolsky said. The townhouse was vacant. No injuries were reported, the fire official added.
