Alarm activation at Manasas Mall; suspect slips away

Commercial Burglary – On January 11 at 3:01AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Manassas Mall located at 8300 Sudley Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate an alarm activation. The security guard reported to police that an unknown individual was observed walking around the concessions stands inside of the mall.
The investigation revealed that the suspect entered the mall through the unsecured sliding glass doors then gained access to both Dippin Dots and Fast Fix Jewelry concessions. The suspect attempted to gain access to the register and other areas within the businesses before triggering the alarm. The suspect fled the scene on foot, exiting the mall through the food court doors, prior to police arriving in the area. No items were reported missing and no property damage was reported.
Suspect Description:
A Hispanic male, 6’1”, 190lbs., with black curly hair and brown eyes Last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and gray sneakers
