**ARRESTS**
Felony Child Neglect –
On January 1 at 6:50PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14000 block of Dawson Beach Dr in Woodbridge (22191) for a service request to check on the welfare of three children believed to be inside the home. When officers arrived at the residence, one of the children, an 11-year-old girl, eventually answered the door. Upon checking the residence, officers determined that the 11-year-old girl, a 6-year-old boy, and a 2-year-old boy had been left unsupervised. Officers found a rear door left unsecured, several bottles of alcohol within the children’s reach, and unkempt and potentially unsafe living conditions for the children. The children’s mother, identified as the accused, was located unconscious in an upstairs bedroom and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Michelle Nicole STANLEY, was arrested. The children were released to the custody of another family member.
Arrested on January 1:
Michelle Nicole STANLEY, 29, of the 14000 block of Dawson Beach Rd in Woodbridge
Charged with 3 counts of felony child neglect
