Home invasion in Woodbridge apartment; man hit with vehicle in Lake Ridge dispute over loud music

**INCIDENTS**

Burglary While Armed - On December 21 at 11:34PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 14100 block of Fisher Ave in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a home invasion. The initial investigation revealed that two suspects entered the apartment armed with a firearm and demanded the occupant’s property. During the encounter, a struggle ensued between one of the suspects and an occupant of the apartment over the firearm. At some point, one round was discharged from the firearm into an interior wall.  Both suspects fled the apartment on foot. Minor injuries were reported. This incident does not appear to be random. The investigation continues.

Felony Hit & Run – On December 21 at 3:01PM, officers responded to the 12700 block of Lotte Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a hit & run. The victim, a 71-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was involved in a verbal dispute with an unknown man sitting in a gray Kia Soul who was playing loud music. During the encounter, the other man initially got out of the vehicle then got back in and drove towards the victim. The vehicle struck the victim on the arm and the foot causing minor injuries. The suspect then drove away and the police were contacted. Police searched the area for the suspect who was not located. The investigation continues.
