PWC Police K-9 called in to search for suspects in two armed robberies in Manassas Dec. 7

**INCIDENTS**
Armed Robbery – On December 7 at 12:22AM, officers responded to the Holiday Inn located at 10424 Balls Ford Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. An employee reported to police that an unknown man entered the business and approached the front desk. During the encounter, the suspect brandished a handgun and then demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the area on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 searched for the suspect who was not located. The investigation continues.
Suspect Description:
Asian male, approximately 30 years of age, 5’9” with a thin build
Last seen wearing a black mask, black rain coat, and black pants

Armed Robbery – On December 7 at 1:10AM, officers responded to the 7600 block of Mangione Ct in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 50-year-old man of Manassas, reported to police that an unknown man asked him for a ride to the Coverstone area. Once in the area, the suspect brandished a handgun and then demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the area on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 searched for the suspect who was not located. The investigation continues.
Suspect Description:
Black male, 6’0” with a heavy build and shoulder length dreadlocks
Last seen wearing a red Chicago Bulls jacket, a Bob Marley t-shirt, and black jeans

**ARRESTS**
Strangulation | Domestic Related – On December 5 at 12:23PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 16600 block of Harwood Oaks Ct in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a domestic assault. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 27-year-old woman of Dumfries, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim’s neck and choked her. The accused also took the victim’s cell phone preventing her from contacting police. The parties eventually separated and the victim left the residence. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident.

Gary Allen ANDERSON, 27, of the 16600 block of Harwood Oaks Ct in Dumfries
Charged with strangulation, assault and battery, and preventing the summoning of law enforcement
