Dec. 6 VDOT hearing on proposed signal and road improvements at Rippon Blvd. & Blackburn Rd.
The community is invited to attend a public hearing VDOT on the proposed signal at Rippon Boulevard and Blackburn Road Intersection project on Dec. 6 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Freedom High School, 15201 Neabsco Mills Rd., Woodbridge, 22191, according to Woodbridge Supervisor Frank Principi.
VDOT will provide project boards and a brief presentation including design alternatives.
In addition, the turn lanes on Rippon Boulevard that have not been in use since the intersection became a four-way stop will be restored as part of pavement resurfacing and restripping. The project will also include pedestrian improvements.
