Update: VDOT to close Loudoun Drive in Haymarket Aug. 16-17 to replace culvert
Loudoun Drive (Route 615) between Mountain Road (Route 600) and Rolling Ridge Road (Route 1750) will be closed to through traffic, weather permitting, from 7 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17 for culvert replacement, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation. The work was rescheduled due to Aug. 15 rain.
Residents within the closure area and emergency vehicles will have access to the closed portion of Loudoun Drive, but will not be able to go beyond the point of culvert replacement in either direction.
Traffic will be detoured via Mountain Road, Route 15 and Largo Vista Drive back to Loudoun Drive.
