Prince William County Police log issued July 17 listed these commercial and residential burglaries/attempted burglaries:
Commercial Burglary – On July 14 at 2:03AM, officers responded to the Checks Cashed located at 13251 Occoquan Rd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an alarm activation. When officers arrived, the front glass door was found shattered. A police K-9 searched the area for any possible suspects who were not located. Upon further investigation, video surveillance revealed that an unknown man used a hammer to break into the business around 2:00AM. The suspect entered the business then fled the area when the alarm activated. No property was reported missing.
Commercial Burglary – On July 14 at 3:51AM, officers responded to the Statements Salon located at 2253 Old Bridge Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an alarm activation. When officers arrived, the front door was found damaged. Upon further investigation, video surveillance revealed that an unknown man entered the business around 3:42AM. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing.
Suspect Description:
Male of an unknown race or age, with a thin build last seen wearing all dark clothing
Attempted Commercial Burglary – On July 15 at 3:34AM, officers responded to the McKay’s Used Book Store located at 8345 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The store manager reported to police that sometime between 6:00PM on July 14 and 6:00AM on July 15, an unknown person attempted to enter the business through a rear door which was damaged. No entry was made into the business.
Residential Burglary – On July 14 at 2:28AM, officers responded to a residence in the 2600 block of Logmill Rd in Haymarket (20169) to investigate a burglary in progress. The caller reported to police that he was checking on the residence when he encountered an unknown male inside. The caller punched the suspect and forced him out of the residence where a second unknown male was found standing. Both suspects then fled the area on foot. There were no signs of forced entry and no property reported missing. The investigation continues.

White male, approximately 25 years old, 6’00”, with black hair and a thin build
Last seen wearing a black mask, white shirt, and dark shorts
White male, approximately 20 years old, 6’00”, with a thin build
Last seen wearing a black mask, light colored shirt, and tan shorts
Residential Burglary- On July 14 at 12:13AM, officers responded to a residence in the 16100 block of Kennedy Ct in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that sometime between 2:00PM and 11:00PM, entry was made into the residence through a basement window and door which were found damaged. No property was reporting missing.
Residential Burglary – On July 15 at 2:40PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 2300 block of Vantage Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. A resident of an apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00AM and 2:00PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry. Entry is believed to have been made into the residence through an unsecured door. Jewelry, a gaming console, and shoes were reported missing.
