See plans for Veterans Care Center at Vint Hill at May 24 meeting in Manassas

Del. Richard L. Anderson, will host a public information meeting on Wednesday, May 24, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Manassas City Council Chambers, 9027 Center Street, Manassas, on the approved Puller Northern Virginia Veterans Care Center to be built at Vint Hill in Fauquier County.

Anderson, chairman of the Virginia General Assembly Military and Veterans Caucus, will explain particulars of the facility, review architectural plans, answer questions, and solicit public input.

The facility will break ground in late 2017 and open in late 2019. The center was authorized in 2016 by House Bill 477, on which Del. Anderson and Del. Jackson H. Miller served as Chief Co-Patrons with Del. M. Kirkland Cox.

The meeting is being held In conjunction with the Virginia Department of Veterans Services.

If you missed the May 24 meeting, Del Anderson will be making presentations to various veterans organizations in the upcoming weeks.
